problems with My Skoda and Ohme app?

The "Pair My Skoda" option doesn't work in the Ohme app. (This is Skoda's fault, not Ohme - Skoda have blocked third party apps connecting to them).

Instead you will just need to select your vehicle make/model from the list within the Ohme app.

The downside of this is that Ohme cannot gain access to the current state of charge, so rather than saying "I want to charge my Enyaq to 80%", you have to say "I want to add 50% of the total battery capacity" and Ohme uses the published technical data to work out how much that is.

I was in my local Skoda dealer a couple of weeks ago and they had a Ohme wall charger display inside the showroom! It seems strange they've blocked them?

It's a block on all third parties, not specifically Ohme. Skoda HQ (in Czechia) claim that Skoda have never promoted any specific charger and that 3rd party access is a breach of their T&Cs.

Sloda UK seem completely disinterested.

Not sure if that is totally correct. I paired with Škoda via octopus as couldn’t via ohme.

I spoke with the local dealer yesterday and they said that there should be an update in July 2025 to allow pairing with OHME

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for that to happen, Skoda's record with updates is far from a stellar one.
