Preheat

Anyone else noted the preheat isn’t working? Set departure time/steering wheel and driver seat on and a time. Whilst the seat and steering wheel are on windows aren’t defrosted etc? They used to last year no problem?

I have my enyaq set up to warm the car ( and the battery?) to 20c at 7:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday but tonight when I went out to the car tonight ,it hadn’t warmed the car up – has anyone else experienced this and if so do you know a fix? Thanks in advance

I dont have it scheduled by my car is saying it can't start pre heat today because it is "offline". No apparent reason for this as it worked fine earlier in the week.

Maybe the car was offline and stopped the schedule from triggering?

Yes I had that problem yesterday (not tried it yet today). I suspect that it may be a problem with Skoda's server rather than with your car or your App.

EDIT ... yes, just tried switching on pre-heat and got the "your vehicle appears to be offline" message again. Not had an update or anything else that could have screwed things up, and I could pre-heat yesterday morning OK, so I don't believe it's a local problem, but one at Skoda's server.

Worked today so looks like skoda fixed the issue. Really poor of them not to have a means of checking if their server is down. Looks like it came back online yesterday evening.

It's seems it was a network carrier issue that impacted all VAG group cars in UK.
