The Elroq appears to now actually exist as finished, physical models that the journalists can sit in. Exterior has the new Skoda design at the front (guess we might see that in the Enyaq in a year or so), the rear looks very like every other current Skoda. Inside it's almost identical to the Enyaq, so I guess Skoda are aiming for a familiar feel. Boot is obviously smaller as it's more of a hatchback. Same basic MEB platform as the Enyaq, so same batteries and motors etc. Only 50 and 85 with a couple of trim levels available initially, but Sportline and 85x (and probably vRS) will arrive at some point.

So if you're after a smaller version of the Enyaq, it might be worth taking a look at in 2025 :)

My lease ends in August and I suspect my allowance won't cover the significantly increased cost of the longer range Enyaq so the Elroq maybe the answer.
I do like the newly styled front end. I think Skoda is going from strength to strength with their styling.

Prices have been released for the UK now as well: https://www.elroqforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=111

Ahead of order books opening on 18 October 2024, Škoda has confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the all-new model. Customers will be able to choose from four familiar trim grades; SE, SE L, Edition and SportLine, all of which enjoy generous standard specifications. Prices range from £31,500 for the entry-level SE model with a 55kWh (52kWh net) battery, up to £41,600 for the range-topping SportLine model equipped with the largest 82kWh (77kWh net) battery.

Elroq SE (from £31,500)
SE 50 is fitted with a 55kWh (52kWh net) battery, and is capable of more than 230 miles of WLTP range. The entry point to the new Elroq range comes with an exceptional high level of standard equipment. Among the many highlights are 19-inch Proteus silver alloy wheels, LED headlights and LED rear lights.

Inside, the SE features Škoda’s striking Loft design selection that comes with fabric and artificial leather upholstery, grey headlining and a two-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel. Drivers benefit from a large 13-inch touchscreen display, digital cockpit and single-zone climate control as standard. The SE also offers a generous quota of convenience and safety systems as standard, including a rear-view camera with rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition and blind spot detection.

Elroq SE L (from £33,350)
SE L 60 models come with a larger 63kWh (59kWh net) battery as standard, which has a WLTP range of more than 250 miles on a full charge. It also offers drivers more equipment, including a two-spoke leather heated multifunction steering wheel with paddles for recuperation selection, heated front seats, satellite navigation and Škoda Connect - Infotainment Online and Remote Access (three years).

Customers opting for the SE L also benefit from dual zone climate control, drive mode select, front parking sensors and preparation for a tow bar. As with the SE model, the SE L also comes with a six-metre, 32A Type 2 charging cable as standard, along with rapid charging capability of up to 145kW when connected to a suitable DC rapid charger.

Elroq Edition (from £34,450)
The Elroq Edition model comes with two battery options; 60 and 85; a 63kWh (59kWh net) pack that offers more than 250 miles of WLTP range, and a larger 82kWh (77kWh net) pack that can deliver up to 360 miles on the WLTP cycle, respectively. Edition models build on the specification of the SE L and add 19-inch Regulus anthracite alloy wheels, unique dark chrome roof rails and window surround and privacy glass with acoustic side windows.

Edition customers also benefit from travel assist plus, predictive adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, keyless entry, and wireless charging (15W) with cooling function. Elroq 85 models, which come with the larger 82kWh (77kWh net) battery, can also take advantage of 175kW DC rapid charging capability.

Elroq SportLine (from £37,400)
The flagship model of the Elroq range, SportLine comes with two battery options 60 and 85; a 63kWh (59kWh net) or 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack with WLTP ranges of up to 258 miles and 355 miles respectively. SportLine models are distinguished by 20-inch Asterion black alloy wheels, matrix LED headlights, unique SportLine bumpers and gloss black roof rails, door mirrors and tailgate lettering.

Inside, SportLine models come with a bespoke Design Selection that features microsuede and artificial leather upholstery, carbon effect decorative inserts, front sports seats and a black headlining. A three-spoke artificial leather heated sports multifunction steering wheel with paddles for recuperation level selection is also fitted as standard.

Reflecting its sporting nature, the Elroq SportLine comes with progressive dynamic steering as standard (the 85 battery offers the addition of sports suspension as standard) while an electrically operated tailgate with kick activation and rear side airbags complete the specification.

85 Edition for me please although not looking to change until summer 2025 and it will depend on the external dimensions

Watching all the videos recently it is virtually identical inside to the Enyaq which suits me fine. Just want a smaller one

I am fortunate that I have not been troubled by the issues that others seem to have and with that in mind I have no hesitation in choosing this

Edit to add the dimensions are on the Skoda UK website

Me too. possibly the Sportline but I think edition 85 will suit. More I look , more I like but I also like the Cupra version.

Problem is, ive just priced up an 85 Edition Suite with only a heat pump and 20" Vega's and its £43,400 which is crazy money IMO and more than I paid for my 80 Enyaq Suite 3 years ago. I would also want some extras but it seems you must buy the big packs to get some of the stuff - Id have to spend another £5k for a few extras I want and many that I don't want.
Tesla model 3's start at just under £40k and has everything I would want including the heat pump and being super efficient in the real world would probably have a similar range even with the smaller battery.
I can't see these being so popular with the cost and the inability to choose extras that you want.

Agree with the above for £40k+ with all the modcom. That’s a lot of money and puts it in a lot of competition with better drive/tech/value.

I think they need to bring more value to the table on the edition models.

Put it this way, I won’t be in a hurry to swap my entaq for elroq. It is definitely a downgrade for the same money.

Having priced an 85 Edition with tow bar and different packs I am very disappointed.

I was so looking forward to externally a smaller Enyaq and apart from the overall length it is actually bigger, OK just millimeters but still bigger.

Currently the Enyaq just squeezes through a gap in the lane to our driveway

Looks like I will be keeping my Enyaq now until the Epiq comes along

And now it seems Tesla will introduce a new long range RWD model 3 at about £43k with a range of @ 395 miles WLPT.
I wonder if they will keep the existing short range model 3 to keep under the £40k Luxury car tax?
They have already released the Model Y version at £47k and removed the short range model Y:

We had a petrol Kamiq as a courtesy car last week. It felt very basic no digital temperature adjustment or keyless entry etc…

The sort of car in my mind you’d have bought secondhand years ago as a first car.

The cost new of such a car is £32k.
Ordered August 2021, collected 28/4
iV60 Loft, v3.7 software,
Velvet red, pano roof,
basic parking and convenience pack
100kw upgraded free of charge
Podpoint home charger
