I also don't get speed camera warnings - where do I find the settings for this?

I found the "small icon"

So from your homescreen > top left car icon to enter the settings
> Traffication (second page)
> Hamburger menu icon (top left under the car icon)
> Select settings on the left
> Here you can disable specific alerts, disable everything at once or just disable to spoken warning but still keep the popup.

Try this way:
-car icon on the top corner
-scroll to the page where is "traffication"
-three line at the corner
-settings
-receive notification
-turn off "radar controls"

Sorry - I should have reported back on this - it is actually part of Traffication after all (which I haven't bought but still seems to be working on my car) - but it is not obvious how to disable it - it's a tiny icon on that app screen that allows you to select which announcements you want, and whether they are verbal or just visual. The verbal announcements are played at the voice assistant volume - so although I managed to reduce the volume just by reacting quickly to a handful of announcements as they played, you can root around for that assistant volume and reduce it there.

Hardly very obvious...

I think you get it free for one year by default.
