New Enyaq Coupe making Grinding/Rumbling noise when turning

My car has now been at the dealership for over a month they suspect its a problem with the differential gear box on the front wheel drive after testing just about everything you can, we are awaiting for skoda technical to make a decision to replace/repair, we are getting extremley frustated with how long its taking to get fixed.

Hi everyone
I have a 85x sport line and mine does the exact same. I’ve read other posts on different websites and some people are saying that it could be that the dealership haven’t removed the transport mounting blocks. I think they are on the front suspension arms but I haven’t been able to get the car on a lift to check. Also if you guys are saying that you have had your cars looked , then you would think that somebody may have seen them?

Thank you so much for getting back and I’m so sorry to hear it’s been a long ordeal for you, I think at least they are on top of it now, at first they just told me they can’t see what’s wrong and even said it’s a “characteristic” of the Enyaq maybe.
I am booked for Friday and I will be mentioning this, I have to be honest and say it’s all this has sort of taken the sweet taste away from this cosmetically gorgeous car, there are amazing positive things but driving around knowing it’s rumbles this way around corners, that feeling of just knowing it’s unsafe has ruined everything. I’m hoping you get yours fixed and they correct this for myself also. If anything changes please please let us know as this has been a relief that it’s not just my car doin this.

Hi, I have also seen those posts on my journey to finding out why our cars do that, sadly I’ve looked under and was able to lift the black plastic covering the springs and there was no “blue” transporter mount blocks”, I was hoping it would be there as it would be an easier soloution perhaps, I read that the road bumps and braking is very very sharp with those blocks on and thankfully mine not so hard.
I tested the wheel out and was able to squeeze my arm between the gap to lift the plastic, i have that if the car was lifted then the wheel hangs and this is far far easier and more accurate to see but I didn’t have the luxury not patience so I just tried my best to get it answered.

Hi friend. How is it going? Have you heard anything regarding your car?
I took my car on the 13th, this was my second time going for the exact problem, I showed a machanic the issue, he immediately witnessed the rumbling/grinding whilst going round a few turns. Left the car and was told I would hear from them before the end of the day.
The did not let me know, I called them and reception said your car is ready to pick up, I asked what was done before I come and they had nothing really written, said they don’t know and is completely safe, argued how can it be safe if you don’t know what makes the car vibrate on turns, they said it might be a Škoda Characteristic lol, I said no it’s that cute and I won’t be taking it back, they said they will keep it for longer. 1 week went by and I never heard anything, called them up and they said some technical data has been sent over to Škoda heads to get a better understanding, I was told I may hear back on Monday coming, I have emailed them a video of the sound/grinding on turns as asked. Hoping something can come from that? I’ve also mentioned regarding other Škoda drivers having same issue and regarding gearbox to front drive which I hope can be analysed.
Sadly all this has put a sour taste, it’s a 3month old car now and I’ve already taken it to the workshop when it was a month into ownership, on a brighter note I’m using a loan car and seriously missing my Škoda Enyaq so I guess that’s somthing lol

The car has done only has 98 miles and i've heard it 3 times already. I hope this is not the start of a long drawn out nightmare as everything else about this car is excellent.

Hey buddy.
So I have an Enyaq 85x sport line like you and collected mine brand new in June, within a few days I noticed the noise when I make turns, I went to Škoda where I got it and they said it seemed more like Characteristic which obviously was rediculous as there is nothing cute about it, anyways was told to book it for a repair as it could be brakes or wheel related, July was the date I got and sadly was the most stupid experinace, machanic said it when vibrates in the passenger foot area when asked to show the issue but after a whole day they said they don’t know and it’s completely safe even if they can’t identify the noise and grinding. Booked again and was given September, within that time is few in noise and feel, later in the day told to collect and couldn’t find out why it’s making that noise, I refused as I said it’s not safe for me and my family, they then kept it for two weeks but after all that time…nothing, there was rust on the brake disks which made me think they didn’t even drive it lol, took the car home and next day Rac had to come out as the 12v battery was flat since it was not used in that two weeks. I’ve now booked a different Škoda for next week and hoping to get somewhere but sadly if not then will have no choice but to continue woht my complaint for a return, it’s been 4months and I love the asthetics of the car but its not worth it in the end, having this time I have noticed how many glitches this car has, the sensor has brakes one thinking a shadow on the road was a danger, the key near the car doesn’t open the car and other times it does, the two front speakers have gone and it has a Canton sound system plus the app does not work, it’s always showing permission due to battery from I’m assuming the 12v battery. Anyways yes it’s been a headache to say the least. As far as I’ve researched this is relating to the gearbox connecting to the front drive, but sadly this is not visible from just their typical look around.
I wish somone had told me to really foot my foot on their throat from the second I heard that noise, sadly this has really ruined our experience of this new car.

I think it’s more to do with the 4x4 model from what I’ve gathered so far so the coupe or estate but it’s the 4x4 that has this issue and I believe it’s because the brandnew Gearbox is installed in these models.
