I have found the following :

Charger schedule on, Car schedule off - Doesn’t work

Charger schedule off, Car schedule on - Does work ok

Charger schedule off, Car schedule off, leave it to Octopus to sort it - Does work ok.

FYI I always set the schedules to 23:30 - 08:00
At the risk of asking a stupid question - how do you set the schedule on the car? Do you have to set a charge location first? Thanks
Yes add a charge location in the car menu.

Then I would turn on one of the preferred charging times. Amend the time to 11:30pm - 08:00am. Leave the other options off.

Once you have do it in the car, you can make amendments to the schedule with the app.

This never worked for me before the update. But it does now.

So we ME3.7 they fixed the cars schedule but removed the option to use a chargers schedule. :D
Great - Many thanks. I'll give it a go tonight.

I have experienced the same issue post ME3.7 upgrade and found a work around.

I charged at home using a Wallbox Pulsar Plus using the Octopus overnight cheap tariff. Before the upgrade I controlled the 0130 start time for the charge using the Wallbox software and the car simply detected the charge and was charged using the cheap rate until it stopped at 0530 using the Wallbox software (or the car reaching its maximum charge). The car software was not used at all.

After the software upgrade the car did not detect when the charge began. If I got up and opened and closed the car anytime during the charging period (effectively waking the car) the charging would commence. But getting up in the middle of the night is clearly not convenient. Using both the Wallbox and car software synchronized to begin and end the charge at the same time is NOT a solution.

After trying various permutations, I have set the charging hours on the car and removed the scheduling from the Wallbox software and this resolves the issue. It is not ideal as the Wallbox would now deliver charge to any car that plugged in but it does charge the car using the cheap electricity.

Just got mine updated to 3.7. First night 6 hr timed charge didn't work, but while still plugged in from the failed night time charge, the solar generation set my Zappi charging at 1.5kw. Plugged in this evening & the timed Zappi still failed to trigger. The Zappi app showed charger in paused state as if waiting for car.

Fuse 3 for the onboard charger is in the fuse box under the hood, labelled "Front Compartment Fuse Box" in this doc https://fuse-box.info/skoda/skoda-enyaq ... 2023-fuses

For me the reset did the trick. Hopefully it stays that way!
Yep I saw this and that’s where I got the idea from to do this.

I deffo pulled fuse 3 from under the bonnet. I used the manual to locate it it.

I did this twice and did not fix my issue.

So can you confirm? Are you now able to use your chargers own schedule to control the charging of your car now. As opposed to the schedule in the car’s own menu, which is not in question here.

Thanks
Sorry for late response. Yes! Luckily for me, I can confirm that pulling out fuse 3 fixed the problem permanently. I do not have schedule on the car side, and I have been charging with charger's schedule now for several times since I had the problem after ME3.7 upgrade. I have go-e Charger.

Just got 3.7 and 1st night, my Zappi was scheduled to kick off the charge but all apps and status info just looked like it was waiting for the scheduled charge to start, but it doesn. I plugged into my other (older Zappi) and that did the same. On both occasions I have monitored, it feels like the charge is triggered when i investigate through the Skoda app, despite the Zappi being in charge of kicking off the charge. Is Skoda holding back the charge session despite Zappi offering power?????
Once I can recreate the problem for the dealership to test, I will get it booked in/reported for them to find an answer.

I had the same behaviour after ME3.7 update: from the charger's perspective charging is enabled by schedule and everything is good to go, except that it just waits for car to start charging which it refuses to do. When waking the car up via My Skoda app, the charging starts. For me, it was fixed by resetting the on-board charger by plugging in/out fuse 3 in the front compartment.

If you have not tried yet if this works for you and want to try, look for the "Front Compartment Fuse Box" and "Charger for the high-voltage battery, electric drive" here https://fuse-box.info/skoda/skoda-enyaq ... 2023-fuses

Hmmm..... My car has not yet received the ME3.7 update. After reading all this, and as I am quite happy with it as it is, can I just ignore the notification when it arrives that an update is available...?

I'm on 3.1 and everything works fine with the car and charging setup. I use a Zappi with Intelligent Octopus Go. Octopus does all the scheduling and it's always worked since we set it up in January this year. I have a 2 year service coming up and now I'm wondering if I should ask them not to install 3.7 in case it messes something up. Are there any benefits of 3.7 over 3.1 or it is just bug fixes? If there are bugs in 3.1, I haven't noticed them.

I'm so glad I found this thread because I thought I was going crazy.

We have a PodPoint Solo 3 charger with Octopus Intelligent. Before version 3.7, I used to schedule my charges via the PodPoint app (long story, but the IO isn’t working right with my smart meter). Everything was fine. I would plug the car in, and the app would show the cable as plugged in but with no power (grey), which was good. Then, at 11:30 pm, the cable would turn green and the car would charge overnight.

However, after the 3.7 update, scheduling stopped working. Many times I've woken up in the morning to find that no charging occurred overnight.

I've had to switch to manual charging; it's the only way I can get the car to charge now.

PLEASE, Škoda, sort this out soon!
