I wonder if anyone had their orders in Dec 2021 and got any kind of confirmation that the order has been accepted or even built We are in London....

Ordered on 18th December and still waiting for news (that isn't 'there's no news'). Our current and only car is now sat on the drive (Seat Alhambra) not being used much as all controls on steering wheel are dead including airbag (apparently a common fault and a £250ish part). Have to wait 4 weeks for the same dealer to be able to look into/fix that. Asked sales guy to call me after I booked the Alhambra in as I want him to ensure I get a good deal on the fix considering in normal circumstances shouldn't still have that car, he of course hasn't called!

Still got “order not yet accepted by factory” from my dealer for a Nov 2021 order.

You never know, orders seem to make no logical sense and don’t run on a first come first server basis…..

Same here. Ordered in first week Dec 21 and no news at all. Also in London

I ordered in Nov 21, original delivery date of 5th May 22. Pushed back every 2 weeks until July.

2 weeks ago moved from "factory pipeline" to "confirmed build" with a delivery date of 8th August. Today I received an email telling me my car would have the upgraded battery free of charge.

Hopefully no more delays. In Scotland if that means anything.

Your vehicle was originally ordered with the 100kW DC battery charging but it is now 120kW - this will deliver reduced charging times for you when fast charging on a suitable public charger. This is at no extra cost. "

Wow, so decided to email the dealer to understand her confidence level of a move to "confirmed build" actually resulting in the delivery date being met;

"Hi Marc,

Your vehicle is built and is currently in transit from the overseas production factory to the UK.

I would estimate the beginning of August to be the worst case scenario for delivery.
