Like I’ve mentioned before it arrived on Wednesday morning after my long 7 month wait.
That looks nice in Energy Blue; I may have to opt for the basic version like this one, if I want an 85 (I’ll soon be choosing a new company car). I had the Loft 80 at my last company but with 21” Betria alloys. Very happy with Loft. I liked the appearance of the Betria alloys but I was always paranoid about damaging them - so not a particularly practical choice.
iV80 Loft, Black, 21” Betria, 125kW, Climate Plus, Asst Drive Basic. Tethered PodPoint. Ordered May 2021. Delivered Nov 2021. Regrettably returned Jan 2024 (Company car. Changed jobs).

Using my magnetic Velcro raincoat material thingy to try to keep the charger port actually free from the elements. Cost about a tenner.
Hi, I'm just waiting on delivery of my Basic 85 editon, apparently it's going to be this week ( we'll see!)
We actually ordered the 80 Loft with a heat pump but as Skoda discontinued this model just after we ordered it they very kindly upgraded us to the 85 Editon at no extra cost so I'm not complaining!
Quick question....where did you get you magnetic raincoat thingy??

I think it was from Ali Express. I bought it about six months ago.Adam2372 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 9:08 am Hi, I'm just waiting on delivery of my Basic 85 editon, apparently it's going to be this week ( we'll see!)

Many thanks, what's your first impressions of the car, I've never owned or even driven an EV before so don't really know what to expect.
It's actually my wife's company car but it'll be me driving it most of the time as she'll probably think it's too big when she sees it and stick to driving her little Seat Ibiza..... we'll that's what I'm hoping anyway!

Just noticed I didn’t reply to you. I’m 6 weeks in and nearly 1000 miles. I love it. My first EV. Didn’t even test drive one. Relaxed comfortable drive, very responsive and very economical.Adam2372 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 9:31 am Many thanks, what's your first impressions of the car, I've never owned or even driven an EV before so don't really know what to expect.

Hi thanks for responding, I'm now 3 weeks and 700 miles in.
I'm loving the EV experience too, it makes my 15 yr old Mercedes feel like I'm driving a container ship!....my only gripe is the bleeping when you go over the speed limit but I'm learning to ignore that now, or as my wife says " you could just slow down" (she's generally right!)

I would go for the Enyaq original rain-snow protection instead. I think the risk of paint damage or something else is less with skodas...spinna1969 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 10:16 pm Using my magnetic Velcro raincoat material thingy to try to keep the charger port actually free from the elements.
