Annoying bits of the Enyaq

So had the car for about 2 months

Here is my list of annoying bits of the Enyaq

1) the horn - it is timid. What the hell!
2) the indicator click - it is non-existent
3) rain sensing wiper - it is unreliable either too fast or doesn’t do it’s job when the wind shield is covered with rain drops
4) startup AC has a mind of its own, some times it comes on with full blast and other times it is switched off as per my app setting
5) the mode selection defaults to Normal every time the car is put on standby
6) the Skoda App is terrible. It seems only the Tesla EV enjoy good app service every other car manufacturers have terrible app!

What are your list of annoying bits

Of course the car has lots of good bits and excellent bits besides the fact that it is WAY cheaper to run than equivalent ICE cars and more fun to drive - previous car was a 2L diesel Kodiaq.

For the start up AC, could it be you have set it as auto temperature? This will probably the reason why it goes into full blast to achieve the desired temperature quickly.

The rest I agree as well especially the App. It’s blardy 2023 and other car apps dated back in 2016 has more features and looks better!

Starter AC is disabled in App and 50% of the times works in the car. But the other 50% it’s doing it’s own thing.

Weird as hell.

Agreed. I think it’s to do with NCAP ratings, it has to be on by default to count towards the car’s safety rating.

For fear of sounding like a ‘fanboy’, I’m actually struggling to come up with anything which actually (really) annoys me. I promise I will be back if I do, but nothing springs to mind!

I agree with your list and I'd add:
1. Agreement button on start-up should timeout
2. Selecting park assist from the button doesn't bring up the tramlines
3. Volume wheel isn't enabled when parked
4. Those idiotic puddle lights
5. Single reversing lights (on a £46K car?)
6. Ongoing software bugs
7. Worse than useless technical helpline
8. Seems to default to my wife's phone for Android Auto the majority of the time - give me a choice!
