I've not had any problems today. Since I have the car, I've not had any problems connecting.

I think all the issues we experienced 9 months ago seem to have been mostly sorted now. As I said then though, the app isn't essential and is reliant on things outside of Skoda's control (ie the internet), so occasional hiccups are to be expected.
