I’m booked in tomorrow morning to have my 50kW charge limit lifted. Assuming the new rate will be 125kW and possibly 135kW after the mythical v3 update later in the year?

I’ll report back, once it’s done. I’m having to go to another branch, as my local branch still doesn’t have any EV technicians.

Has anyone else had this done yet? How much did you pay?

Still waiting on my delivery but it was a 50kw I ordered. I’m hoping the car will come with the upgrade but is there a way to tell?

Paid to have mine uprated when I ordered the car. Have used 125kw chargers a few times in different temperatures and at different levels of charge and I’ve never had more than 45-50kw of charging out of it.

Charging at 125+kW should occur between 5% and 30% charge:

Took the dealer about an hour. Part no. on the invoice was

The MySkoda app still says 50kW in the Vehicle details page, but I guess this might update later...

I asked about the upcoming v3 update, but I suspect we know far more about it than the dealer!

If you link your vin to power pass it shows what charging rate the car has

That’s great. Just registered as the dealer sent me the VIN. Looks like my car has 100kw on dc

mine has just been delivered today and has 100kw charging according to the app but didn't pay for it - ordered in July so was only meant to be 50kw so win for me

My order was submitted to the factory in July ‘21 and was informed by dealer in Oct ‘21 that the 100kw DC charging was now a free upgrade.

I’m in the UK and if you’re elsewhere it might be different but when I ordered in Oct 21 it wasn’t a free upgrade. The option to have 50kw only was removed so 100kw / 120kw was pre-selected. Later on they integrated it into the base price and the “mandatory option” was removed.
