One wonders what Tesla owners do over other brand owners....

"We hope other owners of other brands follow the in-app teachings to ensure a speedy charge when they arrive at a supercharger and ideally follow what most Tesla owners do etiquette wise"

36p per Kw in Thetford which is a pretty normal price at the moment

The bit I was surprised about was the idle fee 35p per minute, or even 70p per minute, they are obviously keen to get you off the charger

I commented elsewhere about that paragraph. Do we all aspire to be a Tesla driver /sarcasm 😀

I suspect the 36p is with the £10.99 monthly membership.I wholeheartedly agree with overstay charges though. Other networks need to apply them as chargers get busier

That is very true with regard to the overstay

But my guess is that it has only been introduced so any vehicle manufacturer can use the charger must be a little bit annoying for a Tesla owner

I won’t be bothering to try it now then

Yeah

I signed up to the Tesla app as soon as I saw this.

62p at Manchester and for £10.99 monthly membership cost it drops to 47p.

I think they've studied the pricing and usage of the main chargers in each country, and very sensibly picked locations that won't cause issues for Tesla owners during the trial period, and prices that are very competitive - a bit cheaper than Ionity, similar to BP etc., with the subscription bringing it down to slightly less than other subscription ones. This is likely to be an important revenue stream to Tesla, so they're going to do it in a way that works well for customers as well as themselves.

There are a couple of the trial sites that are in places I might use, but similarly they're quite close to other 150kW+ locations that I already have on my list of preferred places to stop.
