Its now coming up to 2 years since I received by Enyaq Sports line 80X . On finally receiving it I had been on order for 22 months so was it worth the wait?
The answer to the above is a resounding yes as to date the car has been a pleasure to own and drive. With this being my first EV and with having home charging savings on fuel costs have been considerable.
Over the period Miles per Kilowatt have dropped slightly by .2 kw per mile but on a 80% charge during the colder winter months range is shown as 210 miles.
To date the only fault has been for a period of about 2 weeks over the winter and only when in a certain area. IE when exiting Conwy Tunnel I was continually being connected to Skoda assist for about 5 miles radius after which it ceased. The same also happened every time at the same location. Soon afterwards update 3.7 was downloaded and since to date the issue has ceased.
As mentioned in my 1 year ownership update the only regret I have is that I should of checked on ordering that it has auto boot opening and shutting as the boot lid is heavy with only a flimsy rubber strap to pull when closing. ( at the time ordering all extras were itemized almost individually and not grouped into packs.)
The car has a heat pump fitted and I cannot scientifically prove with data, but it does seem to mitigate somewhat any reduction in range during colder months.
i believe through what I read that depreciation of EV,s is high so I am not hopeful of of any Positive equity when I come to change the car but at least I can hand it back and walk away if that proves correct.
I was very shocked by my last insurance premium which increased by almost 100% as i had over 40 years of never making any insurance claims. But at the time I think it was true that most premiums had large increases.
I am told that they have eased back somewhat so I will wait and see at my next renewal.
So to date the car has been very reliable and a pleasure to own and drive. The AWD which was a show stopper when purchasing the car due to where I live with a poor unmade road to my home has proved its worth.
so all in all a positive experience.
Ownership update
I’m intrigued by the fault on Skoda assist when you exited Conwy tunnel. Sounds very odd, I’ve been through there a few times with no issue. Maybe the car wanted to go and get some Edwards’ sausages.
Ordered August 2021, collected 28/4
iV60 Loft, v3.7 software,
Velvet red, pano roof,
basic parking and convenience pack
100kw upgraded free of charge
Podpoint home charger

Yes maybe your right Ref Edwards!
It was a pain when it was happening but as mentioned it stopped after the 3.7 update came through and was downloaded.
Maybe that was just a coincidence but its certainly not happenend since the update.
Incidentally Ref a request for current Mileage which I forgot to add to the 2 year update.
The car has now covered 24K miles.
