With a 7kW charger I would expect 50% charge to be added in about 6 hours active charging. If you are using "Smart Charging" such as Intelligent Octopus the charging scheddule may (most probably will) consist of several shorter time slots spread out between the time that you plug in and the requested availability time but the totatl time actively charging would be the same. For Intelligent Octopus you could look at the detail of the initial schedule (it usually changes during the night as charging progresses, and even before it starts) and work out the total time planned, which is usually a bit more than "required added percentage" x 6/50 hours.

If the car is adding significantly less than 50% charge per 6 hours then something is likely to be limiting the charging rate. This could be that the car is set to use a reduced charge rate or the "charger" is limiting it for some reason.

It's basically saying that I need API application programming interface to sync my skoda enyaq with the ohme pod app. I'm on a octopus energy fixed 12month rate

Best people to talk to about that message will be Ohme. I found this on their website (not that it's particularly helpful) ....

The "Pair My Skoda" function in the Ohme app does not work. It's a known issue that is entirely Skoda's fault - Skoda (or rather VAG group) have taken the conscious and deliberate decision to prevent third party apps/devices using the API to connect to your car. It doesn't only effect Ohme.

What you need to do is simply select your vehicle model from the predefined list in the Ohme app. It won't overcome the API issue but it WILL give the Ohme app details about your cars charging capacity. But note that it will NOT be able to gather information about current charge level, so you are not able to say "charge my car to 80%", rather you have to tell Ohme how much charge to add to the car (as a % of it's total capacity).

Also my skoda enyaq app has the function to preheat the car before leaving home. For the last few days the app keeps saying "something has gone wrong and your enyaq appears offline, please try again later". Or something to that effect.
Would you know why that is? My Internet at home is perfectly working, my phone is fine signals are all great so again, is it skodas end that this app is not working?
