I have had my Enyac for over two years and enjoyed the Excellent night charging rate with the Intelligent Octopus App, it has a variable charging schedule at about 7p/Kwh which takes advantage of availability of cheap wholesale electricity.
In other words very climate and environmentally friendly.
Over a month ago it went in for its service, the software update took 3days!
Now it no longer connects to Octopus! Skoda tells me that they have discontinued their relationship with Octopus.
I was not informed, so for weeks I thought the dealership was to blame.
I am now some£150 out of pocket, Škoda have not reimbursed me. I intend to write to Which, Social media and all online EV publications to make them aware!!
Intelligent Octopus tarriff
Also remember that Octopus Intelligent is beta, and you clicked to agree that you understood it could be withdrawn or stop working at any time with no compensation. This is that situation - it's become so popular that it's overwhelming the servers of some car manufacturers with requests for battery charge level. So some have limited the number of requests per day or blocked Octopus entirely.
As above - a better solution it to change to a charger (eg Ohme or Zappi) that is supported by Octopus. Yes, you can't set a specific charge level that you want the car to have (only to add a certain amount up to the limit you have set in the car), but it is trouble free and doesn't swamp the Skoda servers.

If your Enyaq was previously working on IO and has only stopped post a software upgrade - ME3.00 or 3.1 to ME7 - you can pull a fuse on the main fuse panel and reset. There are a lot of posts on this site showing how to do this.

I could never get my 2-year-old iv60 ME3.0 to communicate with Intelligent Octopus Go through my charger. So I set a timer in my charger using its app - no attempt to control charging through IOG or through the car. And it worked perfectly. I also had the big software upgrade to ME3.7 last month. The charging via the timer stopped working altogether. It was as if the charger had now failed to communicate with the car.
As @DorsetAndy says, I'd seen previous advice regarding resetting and rebooting the main HV charge control unit onboard the Enyaq. This involves the under-bonnet fuse box. Remove Fuse 3, wait a little, re-insert Fuse 3. Ever since then, everything's back as previous with my timed off-peak charging working as before.
@Charcoalmaker - how are you out of pocket? Did the car charge during peak periods with no off-peak charging taking place? Or would the car just not charge at all, meaning you thought you had to use commercial charging points? Has your situation now fixed itself somehow? If it's the 'no charge at all' situation, I'd be reasonably confident that what you've described is a condition that the Fuse 3 trick might resolve. Good luck anyway. It's simple, quick and can't make things any worse. Oh, and experience of Skoda would suggest you'll be wasting time and effort with all your favourite complaints places.

Will Zappi, etc not face a similar problem of overloaded servers if we are all forced to use their chargers to continue to use OI?
My IO still works post the 3.7 update, but I did get the dealer to pull the fuse.

No, because it's not querying for battery status. It kind of works the other way round - Zappi tells Octopus when the car is plugged in, and then Octopus tells it when to start and stop.

Hi all, I'm new here and new to my Enyaq (will have had it one week come tomorrow) and I'm entirely lost by all this.
I have an Easee One charger which was installed 2+ years ago and has sat unused most of that time as it was my ex that had an electric car rather than me.
I'm having the same issues you all are reporting with Octopus smart charging and am forcing my way with bump charge and leaving the car unlocked for periods just to get juice into it.
Can the Easee One charger be controlled via app in the way that's being suggested here? And could anyone talk me through it?

Octopus intelligent Go is still working fine on my car. It didn’t work immediately after the 3.7 upgrade but pulling the relevant fuse, as advised elsewhere, fixed it and it’s been fine since.
