Ok movement my dealer has informed me that my car was on a ship that arrived in Port of Tyne today so anyone waiting in Scotland or North East your car may have landed at UK port today

I’m in North Wales, really, really hoping that my car is on this! I’m guessing Grimsby would be the right Port? So many people now with the same build week 26 already picked up their cars. I was told early August as my delivery, but last update I had from dealers was to say it was cleared for shipping at Emden and just waiting a ship.

I have placed my order for a 85 Edition (Race blue metallic) with towbar (mostly for bike rack, although maybe occasional camping trip with trailer) and heat pump. Order officially placed yesterday (31/07/2024) morning. So now I get to play the waiting game.

I have been told (rather unscientifically by the sales rep) "12 weeks approx". Reading here I doubt this.

some have been delivered in 12 weeks but work on around 20 weeks being more likely

Hello Everyone,
just joined the forum to try and keep updated on all things Enyaq , ordered an 85x sportline plus in Magic Black mid june on motability. Was told by dealer in leeds that i would be looking at 4-6 month lead time as i didnt get one that was already due to or being built for uk market . hadnt been given a provisional date or build slot for quite a while , spoke to the sales manager today who has told me its been given a booked but not confirmed slot of week 39 , so probably not going to see it till christmas now , slighty disapointing but i guess ill get a good christmas present this year lol (fingers crossed ) and who knows maybe even the my25 which would be a bonus .

Do you know if your car has arrived at the dealership? Just curious to know how long it takes between arriving in the UK and getting to the dealership

I think the VW Group only ship to Grimsby, Sheerness and Tyne. But someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Looks to be just 15 mins away from Grimsby. So might just be managing traffic around the port areas?
