I got this quick update as well today morning in Finland. Took no time, but hopefully the 3.1 is coming soon after this (?).

Me too a while ago in Croatia, I don't know what it is about, but it's not 3.1
P.S. I'm already crazy about switching from car play to consumption, as far as I know 3.1 solves it on a small display

I had it too and sure it said something about stability for future updates . I’m on 3.0 so maybe it’s trying to get to make sure everyone is ready for the real update

Yeah same here in the UK. Took about 4 seconds.

Looks as though it’s prep for an upcoming big update. Which would match what they were saying.

Fingers crossed for 3.1!

What does 3.1 give us that 3.0 doesn’t?
Upgraded 2021 Sept ‘80 to 3.0 last Nov and it was underwhelming…. Still irritated by having to acknowledge online services every journey…

Two spring immediately to mind. Trip data, including miles/kWh, in display behind steering wheel and capability for plug and charge.
iV 80 Suite, Arctic Silver plus various packages. ME 3.1
Ordered late Oct 21 for delivery June 2022. Scheduled production now Week 29 (was previously late September). In transit 25 July 22. Delivered as ordered 17 August 22.

Thanks.
The lack of useful consistent data on the small screen has been a sore point for me. Took a long time to address it, but I bought it in the state it was so that’s on me.
Had to google “plug & charge”. Probably a good thing, as long as it doesn’t lock me in to expensive tariffs. Might be especially helpful for a Continental European road trip?

That's not a feature of 3.0. I have had it a few times, but then it stopped (TBF I had 3.0 from the factory).
Something may not be set up properly. How many are having this persistently?

Finally went to the dealer for 3.0 update. I have a 2022 IV80 rwd. As you might know some cars habe different batteries and thus have different charging curves. At least the coupe (and maybe others) have high peak up to 175kw and others are left with flatter curves. I recorded my curve before and after update, pics below.

-before: from 4% to 60%, 24minutes, average power 108kw, price 0.187€/kWh
-after: from 9% to 56%, 18minutes, average power 120kW, price 0.167€/kWh

So i'm clearly with the flat curve, not a huge improvement, but enough to be noticeable time- and pricewise

Do they charge per minute connected rather than per kWh?
