Does the slider allow you to select anywhere along the colours with a gradient or does it snap into different shades of colour?

Not related - but the infrared sensitivity of that camera shows the infrared LEDs on the 'touch sensitive slider' nicely. Confirming that it does in fact only have a few points where it senses a finger (by light being reflected from the LED back to a phototransistor next to it), rather than being sensitive all the way along. So it's sensing a swipe by seeing which direction your finger is moving as much as anything. Not a bad design - good and reliable and not affected by whether your hands are dry or damp like a capacitive sensor strip would be.
I tend to just tap the - or + symbol rather than sliding anyway if I use (ie as a passenger, or with the car on but not in Ready mode), but it's interesting to see how it works.

Please let us know if you can pick inbetween colours as even with touch screen normally on mine for example it will automatically skip to the next colour available and nothing inbetween and maybe this is why I can’t purchase the update

Sorry for late reply, its not a continuous slider but more of a stepped one. It will jump from 30 different colours, think there was 13 before.

Would be nice to have the option of changing the wootwell lighting colour.

I think that’s what the bottom slider is for, the colour of the lighting in the footwell and storage under centre consol.

The standard system also has two sliders. The bottom one just changes the storage area colour (the footwells remain white). It would be good to know if the upgraded option also changes the footwell colour - but perhaps they are only white LEDs there anyway?
