I’ve also been advised week 34 (WC 22nd August), been told to expect it by mid sept/early October depending on transportation time.

Brilliant news , it gives me hope for my own. Hopefully you won’t be much longer 👍🏻

What’s the average time from car arriving at dealership to bring available for transport? If it helps my finance is with Arval and GB vehicle leasing. Cheers.

Hi All,

I placed an order for an Enyaq 80 in September 21 (company car), only to hear today (27 July) from the Contract Leasing company that the build is scheduled for the end of 2022 and will hopefully be delivered in Jan 2023. 16 months from placing the order. I'm feeling somewhat despondent, reading the reviews of those that appeared to place their orders around the same time as me and having got theirs already/on the way. I'm now thinking of cancelling the order and finding another EV.

If you cancel will you be any better off? Tesla quoting Nov to Jan 23 a for the Y and Jan to March 23 for the 3. I’m struggling to think of many that have less than a 6 month wait.

This article from Electrifying gives a pretty good summary https://www.electrifying.com/blog/arti ... ctric-cars

Hi Ian and thanks for the link. I've waited this long, but have asked my fleet manager to look at options and see whether there are any cancelled orders out there for EVs that fall within the price range and are immediately available or within the next 3 months. If none come up, then I'll ride it out until the car is built.
