Subwoofer installation

Hi, has anyone here installed subwoofer or have an idea where in car to place one without loosing space in boot?

The factory fitted one goes in the well in the boot floor (OK, it will when that option becomes available, however it is shown in the workshop manual)

Following this, as I plan to install a subwoofer. I reckon I'll put it under the seats or in the boot under the floor as I opted for the raised floor.

Nope - wouldn't consider it. The manufacturer spends a lot of time profiling the sound to get it as balanced as possible - adding a sub isn't going to help, other than to add 'boom'. It is likely to make it dreadfully unbalanced on any close mic'd voice or classical music.

I could be wrong…. But I think if someone is interested in adding a subwoofer, they’re not likely to have much Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky or Haydn on their playlist
