Thanks for all the follow ups to my original question.

So it looks as though it is permissable (at least in a trial sense) to charge my Enyak at a trial supercharger location - as long as it isn't too busy - and/or as long as i don't mind the occasional comment from a Tesla owner - to which i can always respond "it's a trial - make your feelings known to Tesla!"

Basically I'll need to reverse in one bay to the right of where a "standard car / tesla" would charge, and will definitely be blocking 2 bays (unless there happens to be space to side of right-most charger bay)
Sounds about as likely to succeed as turning up at a random motorway services that only has 2 gridserve charge bays - with the bonus of truly fast charging if there are 2 adjacent spare bays.

I had to charge at a Tesla supercharge station at Trafford centre Manchester today due to all others busy was 11 out of 18 available and sat around incase people was desperate. Started at 13% at 103kwh then dropped to 96kw from 20% up until 49% then around 59kwh so stopped at 60%as expensive . I payed for the 125kw upgrade I’m 2021 never seen it !

I used the one in Aviemore in May when passing through. Worked fine. Expensive though without any 'membership'. Worked fine on my Sportline 80.

Tesla has submitted plans for a new Supercharger site that shows a new design for its iconic charging stalls. The drawings suggest that the American brand is about to roll out a new, faster-charging unit equipped with a longer cable to allow all electric cars to charge at its Supercharger sites.

I feel your pain - I think I've hit the 90's a few times... but once I've taken about 20-30Kwh something always seems to kick in the slow things down. I'm presuming it's heat related, but I've never been sure whether it's at the Skoda end of the charger end. Since we "know" that Tesla chargers are fabulous... (or at least they should all be consisent), it looks like evidence that it's the Skoda end that's blocking things. I wonder whether I should try and claim it as a fault... TBH I've probably only saved about 90 minutes in the entirety of the time I've owned my iV80... given it's spent so little of it's time actually drinking electricity at > 50KW. It was an expensive upgrade.
