Hi all,

Today I have got the Faster Charging upgrade done on my Enyaq iV60, and I have tried a bit of charging at the local Porch centre (the nearest 350kW charger), and the jury is.. well its faster!
I didn't manage to get over 92kW, but possibly because it was only 4º outside, and SoC was still 12% - here is a few pics:

So hopefully soon I will get a chance to do some proper testing, as I might have another tour into Europe coming up in a couple of weeks - I do hope that I will see some of this 120kW I should have got now, as my car was produced in week 38, I just need the right conditions....

The upgrade was done at ŠKODA Stockport and costs was just north of £450.

I have also written to Elli, the company behind PowerPass to ask if I now can have the 12 months free membership fee - I'll keep you posted on this, whenever I get something back from them.

I also asked the service chap about the new software update 3.0, and the guy was just fobbing me off with "Yeah yeah all upgraded, latest version, sunny day, I've just lifted you for £455, happy days"
The boll*cks there was any updates done. Bugger.

So just a follow up, as I've had reply from Elli, the provider behind PowerPass.

Sadly, they are only honouring the first year free, if the car was built with it 😔

That’s a shame, but I guess there are so few Ionity locations in the UK anyway it’s not a big loss to many people. Also most dealers are still unaware of Powerpass too.

Quite happy with that, especially outside temp of approx 2.5°

80kW charger yesterday, charging limited by car, not the charger, not the best speed
Started promising, but then started to colgate.
Temp was -4C, and drove about 2hrs @100km/h.
