I’m placing my order for my 80x tomorrow and having second thoughts about the DCC.
With the sportline you get the sports suspension so interested if anyone out there can feel the extra money being well spent? My partner and I both like a smooth cruise and roads around us aren’t the best.
Any feedback from DCC cars would be great.

I’m getting my car from Octopus electric vehicles via the salary sacrifice scheme. Just wanted to share it’s such a fantastic thing. Brand new with almost every Option for £589 a month over 4 years. That includes everything: servicing, repairs, MOT, tyres brakes AND insurance for both of us! Because they take the money from wages before tax you save 30-40%!
Just wanted to share that. Super excited.
Unbelievably the top spec HSE black I-pace os only £612. I guess it is to do with depreciation. Unfortunately the boot is a little too small for us.

Well if you both like a "smooth cruise" then hope you've avoided the 21" Betria alloys! Look amazing, but 20"s will definitely give a smoother ride.

We are thinking of the 21” which is why the DCC might be a good idea. Just want to know if it’s worth the extra money. Test drove a 60 with 21” and wasn’t too bad. I guess the extra weight of the 80x will make it worse though. Decisions….. it’s that or the area view parking. I can park with one eye after chopping onions but my partner isn’t the best. With the rear camera and sensors seems enough to me though.
Hopefully someone will say: “YES, go for the DCC with 21” it’s amazing!” That’s all I need to hear. 😁

/\ the 21” Betria alloys are actually quite comfortable - but they almost certainly will end up with kerb damage at some point.

I haven’t driven any other Enyaq so not sure how smaller alloys compare.

I managed to test drive 3 Enyaqs 60 and 80 ( but not Sportline) all with different size wheels, all within a few days of each other and took them all on a good 2 hr known test route ( Motorways, Dual carriageways, A roads, B roads especially with those lovely speed bumps and potholes).

I personally couldn't tell any difference in the good ride quality between the 19" and 20" wheels. But the 21's" were noticeably more uncomfortable, causing a very firm and jiggly ride. I'm in my mature years now so do prefer a little more comfort ! I went back and tried the 20" vehicle again and felt more comfortable after just 1/2mile of driving it. Decision was made.
Maybe with the Dynamic Chassis Control system things may have been different, but thats an extra £1000+. The 21's" might suit other drivers quite well, but sorry just not for me.

Oh yes and the test vehicle with 21" wheels was the only one with scuffed alloys. Although to be fair it was the one used by managers at weekends and had highest mileage on.

So I chose the 20" as they seem to suit the looks of the vehicle especially with the vehicle colour I chose (Race blue). They were also a free no cost extra upgrade too when I ordered them. No brainer :D

Sportline comes with sports suspension and 20" wheels, which I can confirms is very comfortable. Yes you can feel the weight of the car on really bobbley roads, but most of the time it soaks up the bumps with ease. Sports suspension is about 2cm lower than standard, which makes the Enyaq look much lower (yet it still has a pretty high ground clearance for a car), but doesn't seem to compromise the comfort level.

I don't have DCC (not standard on any model) on my Sportline so can't comment on that, but I would imagine that it gives you the option of making the suspension softer if you need it, but I'm not sure you actually do. Perhaps with 21"s which are reported to be a bit less forgiving than 20"s.

Drive Sport Package Basic is included on Sportline, but adding the Drive Sport Package Plus to get DCC is another £500. That seemed a lot of money for probably not much benefit to me.

👍 I do agree that the 20” wheels are probably the most practical compromise for comfort and looks - although none of the 19” wheels actually look bad. I’ve seen them all now.

I did go for 21” Betria’s in the end - mainly for looks to be honest, especially as I did have some snobbish anxiety at moving over to Skoda. Luckily for me (and my passengers) the ride feels very much like my BMW’s Sport Mode which I usually preferred anyway, so all good 😊.

19"s aren't an option on Sportline (80 and 80X) models anyway.

Recently ordered an Enyaq 80x, though it won't be delivered for quite some time (Norway).

Strangely enough the DCC is standard on Sportlines delivered to Norway. I testdrove a Sportline for an hour, but didn't feel the various settings made a really significant change, and anyway ended up with a standard 80x with upgraded seat package, as the Sportline seats felt a bit too narrow for me, and I wanted leather. Didn't worry about the DCC option in the 80x. The Sportline exterior were slightly prettier though, and I wouldn't have minded the half inch lower ride. Can't have it all I guess.

Seats are of major concern to me, and the EV6 and iOniq5 seats were sorely lacking when I sat in them. Seems that new owners of these also are installing ledbars, as the front lights aren't really any good according to persons who has test driven these (another area of concern for me) .

Felt pretty good about the Enyaq after a couple of drives and ordered most options (including the CF and the upgraded Canton sound system), though not the sunroof as these tend to be quite noisy in tunnels of which we have quite a few in the western part of Norway. And I didn't order the towbar as I will keep my 2018 Merc 220d with towbar for another 10 years. When I drive east towards Oslo, one third of the first 200 kilometers are spent in tunnels. Also notable tunnell noise in the Merc through the sunroof even though it has the additional Merc soundproofing package (which is great on the open road).

And I ordered 19" wheels. Sensible, not sexy. ;)
