Hello,

Just got my Enyaq on Thursday and I'm getting used to my first Skoda. is there anywhere that says what the bits in the boot are for?

I'm just clipping the nets anywhere they seem to fit but I'm not sure if there are where they shoulb and also there is a plastic holder of some kind that I'm not sure what it's for. I've attached a photo.

My dealer sent me this

ransport Package. Includes; Net program in boot. Variable boot floor. Rear seat backrest release

TRANSPORT PACKAGE This handy package groups together a host of our most practical features to greatly enhance the functionality of the boot. Cargo elements stop your luggage travelling without you, while the variable boot floor brings the bottom of the luggage compartment level with the loading sill to create an additional concealed compartment for transporting small objects. Got something big to transport? Just pull the lever in the boot that enables the rear seat backrest to be folded down.

Mine does not look like that at all. The transport and lighting packages are standard in France. Mine has a removable top - with the slide-in top the floor is flat and level, the netting I have stored in the open wells either side. I think you only use the netting when you want to secure something. Did you get two corners that stick to the removable floor to also stop things moving around. Mine is a IV60 you did not mention your model. Under the removeable floor is storage compartments for tire inflator and various tools plus cable storage.

Edit: Mine matches the 3 pictures shown for the transport package if you click on the i icon in the configurator.

I’m pretty sure I saw a section in the manual that shows how to fit the nets.

Thanks,

It's an 80 version and looks the same as the pictures.

The netting is fine, I'll pull it out when needed.

The plastic circled looks like it has a purpose but maybe it's for a feature in a different country.

Aren’t they the L-shaped bits that Velcro to the boot floor to hold boxes etc?

Not sure - folded they could be - but they were deployed when I picked up the car. The Photo also shows gear that is not standard in many countries.

Yes, a lot of the things in the photo are additional cost accessories. Possibly some things not even available from Skoda at all. But it gives an idea of what you could put there. I’ll see what mine comes with and what I can find to put in there when it arrives next year…

Exactly that - if you take them out then they have an obvious fold in the middle to make two L-shaped pieces with velcro on the bottom edge. You then stick them to the carpet in the boot at opposite corners of say a box to stop it sliding about. Most Skoda's have them either as an option or as standard - I've got a couple in the boot of my Kodiaq. Not so useful for me as I've got a rubber boot liner to collect spills, so the velcro won't work!

I knew I'd seen them demonstrated in a video somewhere - here they are in the Carwow review of the Superb estate (at 11:32 into the video):
In the Superb, they're stored in the side of the boot so more easily accessible, but pretty sure they're exactly the same bits as in the pictures above in this thread.

On the Enyaq Facebook group there’s a photo showing that they’re ideal for restraining takeaway pizza boxes 😄
