Google Pixel 7 pro - error sound!

When making a call or answer a call I get a really bad (!!!) and crappy sound. It happens about half of the times. I then need to hang up the call - and make the call again. Then it works!

With our Pixel 8a we don't have the same problem.

Any one else with the same problem when using pixel 7 pro?

I have a Pixel 7 (non pro) and every now and again the calls are rubbish. Almost like there is interference. Hanging up and redialing fixes it.

If is is that sort of thing.

i have pixel 8a .it was doing same at first .now work good..just update soft ware i think 5th of every month,thats what i do .hope for best

I did find some information about this problem and it seems to exist a simple fix. If you, in your phones settings, turn of 2g - it fixes the problem. I have now made about 10 phone calls without wanting to rip my ears off
