The Apps that are compatible with Android Auto, or Apple Car Play, should display on the Infotainment screen, when you connect via SmartLink.
Please note, that not all of the Apps on your phone will be compatible.
That doesn't seem to happen with Android Auto. A few apps show by default on the Infotainment screen, but many compatible Apps don't and they have to be added manually.

That's not been my experience. Any of the Apps I have on my phone, that are compatible with Android Auto, are accessible on my Infotainment screen when I use SmartLink.
If that is not your experience then I have no suggestion as to why that might be.

I suspect it's probably some default settings on the phone that determines whether or not all the Apps are displayed. In my case it was only 3 or 4 Apps were automatically shown, the others I had to manually add through the Customise Launcher in Android Auto play settings on the phone. Easy enough to do ....... once you know how!
