Hello all - new member - just picked up used 60 suite spec and driving package plus I think !
Just a quick early question - my drivers seat does not have tilt function only up and down ( height adjustment) is it hidden somewhere or do I not have it ?
Just feel like I need a bit more under knee support
Also drive in D or B ? Most miles around town
Cheers
Hugh
Front seat tilt
Do you have electric seats or manual? Manual seats do not have tilt control. On the electric seats, you can raise and lower the front and back separately by pushing the front or back of the horizontal control bit (well, I guess the back raises the whole seat and the front changes the tilt, but the effect is the same)
D or B is personal preference. For me, I prefer D as it'll let the car coast when it doesn't need to be using power, rather than slowing down quickly when not accelerating.

D means the car will coast when you take your fit off the accelerator. Eco assist, if enabled, might apply some regen though (e.g., coming up to a junction or lower speed limit). If you want to slow down, you’ll need to move your foot to the brake. In B mode, the car will brake when you take your foot off the accelerator. You don’t really coast, as such, just press to go faster or lift off to slow down. Your foot is on the accelerator more but moves to the brake less often. Use whichever suits you.
I can’t see any there would be any efficiency difference unless you drive in B mode constantly switching between acceleration and braking (rather than holding the pedal somewhere in the middle). Others may know better.

In B mode, the amount of regen you get is determined by your foot position on the accelerator, so the more you lift off the more you brake, the less you lift off the less you brake. With practice you can get very fine control with it, which makes driving around town remarkably easy and relaxing.
However when driving on high speed roads it's considered more economical to drive in D mode, as you don't brake so much (if at all) if you have to lift off, so you don't need to accelerate as much to get back up to speed. In essence it's much more like driving an ICE car.
Personally I find the convenience of B mode outweighs its downsides, and drive in it all the time, but as others have said, it's a matter of personal choice, so my advice is to try out both methods, and find out which one you prefer.

I agree. I tried both when I first got the car but after experimenting for a while decided that in the conditions I normally drive I prefer to use B all the time, but select Automatic Cruise Control when possible. When ACC is active the regeneration level is automatically adjusted. I found that I achieved better economy and found driving more relaxing with this combination, however this may well not be the case for others driving under a different set of conditions.Gary R wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 4:25 pm In B mode, the amount of regen you get is determined by your foot position on the accelerator, so the more you lift off the more you brake, the less you lift off the less you brake.
