Fully charged the 12volt battery yesterday. Went out about 12 miles today also.
Just went to set the temperature using the app and got the "remote controls disabled message" due to the 12v battery level.
Went to book into the dealer and they want £22.50 a day for their (not so courteous) Courtesy car. No doubt require multiple visits as well, printing money.
Battery Protection Limit
My car went in yesterday for 12v battery issues and passenger heated seat not working. To be honest I really have no idea what they did and I’m not sure the chap who handed it over to me did either. Whatever it was it was all software related, including the heated seat. The car was deleted from my MySkoda account as part of the process. Picked the car up and when I got home the car was unable to connect to the internet, despite repeated attempts. I was about to resort to the fuse 19 procedure but on trying it tonight it connected at the first attempt.
Anyway, for now, approach lights and keyless entry have been working both last night and tonight, but I’ve only been back online for an hour or so, so fully expecting the battery protection limit exceeded message in due course.

I’ll report back in a few days - I only got the car back online last night so need to give it some time before I can draw any conclusions. Not convinced it’s resolved but it’s behaving itself for now.fatman wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 10:34 amso how things going for you .....stil okMK09 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 9:11 pm My car went in yesterday for 12v battery issues and passenger heated seat not working. Well surprise, surprise. 2 days back from the dealer after going in due to the infamous 12v battery issue, this morning after an overnight frost I was unable to preheat the car as the 12v battery level was critically low. Tonight the battery protection limit messages are back.
The car and ŠKODA are so laughably bad I can’t even get that annoyed any more.
At least the passenger seat heating is still working.

I made an appointment with the dealer as instructed by the Škoda support team, and today I arrived only to find out that the dealer has no idea what to do. No information was provided to him, and no one contacted him. This is just a colossal waste of time. Does anyone know what other escalation paths are available with Škoda?asosnikhin wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2025 10:54 amUpdate on my Enyaq: After an unproductive visit to the dealer last week, nothing changed, and I continue to receive messages several times a day. I complained to my leasing company, and the dealer called me back immediately, offering to do another diagnostic. Today, I left my car with them. The dealer took the issue more seriously this time and didn't pretend there was no problem. They asked me to send screenshots of the messages from the past week. They mentioned they have had a car with similar symptoms for a week and haven't been able to solve the problem yet. They warned me that they wouldn't be able to fix the problem today but would gather more data.asosnikhin wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 9:13 am I want to share my experience: my car died with a falt12V battery just before Christmas. The AA revived the car, but since then, I've been receiving a "battery protection" message almost every time the car is left open for more than 2-3 minutes. Yesterday (January 8th), I visited the Skoda dealer. They checked the car and didn't find any problems. From their perspective, everything is working as it should. The technician mentioned that there is a controller in the car (near the 12V battery's ground terminal) that monitors the 12V battery's condition and will charge it from the main battery if needed, even when the car is parked and closed. However, he couldn't explain why the car died with a flat battery. The funniest thing is that I received that same "battery protection" message at 11:03 while the car was at the dealer and they were doing something with it. The dealer's recommendation was to remove the car from the app, delete the app, add the car again, and monitor the situation. I tried to argue and explain the situation from a user's perspective, but they didn't seem to care. Honestly, I feel confused and disappointed.

Got mine back for the 3rd time and allegedly fixed. Within 3 hours of being at home 12 v battery issue again! This company is a joke.
