After multiple occasions of our VRS 12v battery going flat, and multiple trips to the dealer who “can’t find a fault”, they replaced the battery last September. Well, guess what? Happening again. I have a charger and that errored last night at some point, so it’s still flashing today. Will have to go back in.
And to think at the time some people were trying to convince me this wasn’t a fault of the car but a problem with the way we drive it
Called them up, and the very polite service admin told me cheerfully that we could get it booked in for 14th APRIL!
After all the previous, known and recorded issues, and even with the potential for the (as noted above) dangerous position this could leave the car in, they think it’s acceptable for this to be left for two months? Seriously **** Skoda and their dealer network, I won’t be buying from them again after this car goes back at the end of the PCP.
If you are on PCP, start a complaint with the finance company. Even if that is Skoda/VW finance. They are legally responsible for the quality of the car they supplied to you.

I purchased a CTECH MXS 5.0 Charger a while back for my Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI as I do low mileage, it is a very good charger especially for AGM batteries but it does normal lead acid as well.
I never needed to use it on my KIA E Niro 4+ as it had Auxiliary Battery saver + which toped up the lead acid battery from the main HV battery, for some reason Skoda have not given their EV's the same option, when the car is parked and locked.
So again, because I do low mileage I now use the CTECK charger for my Skoda Enqaq 85 Edition once a month, I fitted the CTECH Comfort Indicator to the 12 Volt Battery to give a permanent connection to the battery and allow easy connection to the charger, it works well and it gives a visual indication by LED traffic light indication , Red, Yellow, Green, of the battery level.

Would be really handy if you could post a photo showing where you connected the positive terminal to.
