Hi all - I have recently had a Skoda Enyaq Sportline Plus 85x delivered to me (it’s been 1 week with the car). The drive has been excellent - today I used the manual boot opening inside the car for the first time as my wife wanted to grab something from the boot on her way out of the car and I stayed inside. After using it, I keep seeing on the dashboard that the boot hasn’t fully closed.
Going to go back to the dealer and flag - but before I do, anyone have any quick fixes?
Boot not closing
Hello
I guess you meant “the boot HASN’T fully closed” according to the dashboard warning?
Possibly a sensor issue but there is also some adjustability which can be made to how far down the boot will close. I don’t have a photo of the adjustable part as I don’t have the Enyaq anymore, but I recall it’s the part on the boot lid which marries up to this part. It’ll adjust up and down by a few millimetres but be careful; adjusting it too much might make the edge of the boot lid hit the bumper.

Yes sorry! Meant ‘hasn’t closed’ edited the original post! Did try this but did not work - going to take it into the garage and see what they say. A really odd issue to have happened on the first 10 days of ownershipGoaty wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 6:25 am Hello

Interesting. I have exactly the same model since April. This weekend I stopped the boot from fully opening (not to hit someone's garage door) and since it bips once every time I close or open it.
