Ours took 5 days to connect and go live, just today.
Without the connection you're a Guest in the car, and loose some functional information, convenience and car management features.

Our dealer forgot the Autoglym pack (we paid £499 to treat the new vehicle) despite my pre collection reminders based upon contributions from Forum Users. Super helpful.

Preload the MySkoda app. You can use it in a demo mode. With the VIN# you can setup most of the pre car/app connection functions to save time.

Oh, and get a Smart meter fitted in advance, you cannot transfer to an Octopus or EON EV tariff without one and there is an undefined delay.
Ask me how I know! LOL.

My Enyaq experience is a little out of date now as I had a 2021 model for a couple of years but I’ve not seen any of the newest software. Not sure if this is still relevant, but I’d recommend adding Auto Hold as a shortcut to the favourites screen (press and hold an icon to select other choices). This was useful because sometimes Auto Hold braking would activate when I didn’t want it to (parallel parking into tight spaces for example). Having quick access like this, was useful for quick disablement.
