Does anyone have an issue with the touch activate lights adjacent to the rear view mirror, mainly drivers, but also had passenger, randomly coming on? It's been mildly irritating but today it has been incessant.

I have yes, and it not just me unintentionally touching the light, passengers have noticed the light suddenly coming on. I started having this problem only recently, probably from end of May, never had this issue before.

I recently had this but cleared it by opening and closing the door, although the door appeared to be closed.

There have been reports of issues with the capacitive touch sensors in the overhead console units.

Thanks for the responses, I assume Skoda would do absolutely nothing if I moaned about it.

There are folks on here who have the overhead console replaced under warranty. Sometimes its not just the lights, sometimes the other controls on the panel can be activated like the service call button.

I had the whole binnacle replaced last year due to intermittent issues with the sunroof controls, Never had the issue with the lights.
