New car delivery times

Ordered Mid April Through LEX, Lex site on ordering said end of August - before they even had a dealer for mine - Surprisingly phone call from dealer 22 august it was there and ready for delivery - I delayed delivery till monday 2nd september to get the 74 plate on

Finally some movement (if Skoda is being truthful). Been told the car is on a ship heading to UK. Seen Seine Highway is at Emden, hopefully that's the one!

Will wait and see as some people seems to have been told this and then two weeks later status reverted to waiting at Emden again. So I'm not putting my hopes up until confirmation it's in UK.

Have u checked with them since? 3 weeks is a long time, should have been at the dealership by now, or at least at the UK port!

I haven't.
I'll see if I get a call this week and if not then I'll contact them on Monday.

Ordered a Sportsline 85x on January 9th, was told delivery would be April/May.

Was given a build date of week 21 (W/C 20th May) on 20th March

Rang on 23rd May to see if it went into build, was told it had been put back to week 26 (W/C 24th June)

I emailed on 26th June to see if it had gone into production and was told it had been locked in now for week 31 (W/C 29th July)

I emailed again on 1st August to see if it had gone into production and was told it had and they would email me when they got the VIN

They emailed me this morning to say the car got delivered to the UK port last week and that it should be with them sometime next week!

Must just be lucky (makes a change to be lucky in something,I am not normally)
I have the VIN and Registration Numbers so definitely all go for Monday pick up
