Maybe and depending on where your dealer is located in the UK your new car will be allocated an appropriate auto- ship and that ship is awaiting morecars to be loaded?

Sheer speculation on my part. It could have been someone's first day and they messed-up? I really hope you get the call this week and that you are summoned to collect it.

Keep the faith!

I have had mt Enyaq Coupe 85 Edition i(n the grey denim fabric? ) for a month now and it's such fun to drive.

No idea of the trim but the basic spec with Proteus 9" wheels if that helps.

I've not tried the B drive yet although in D I took the 4 hounds to The Naze, Essex a couple of Mondays ago,. Well the tides were right for a run on the wet sand and I could fully test out the car,

I managed 4.5 miles per kwh in D for that round trip... Overall I am achieving 4.1 per kwh around the West Essex area.

I haven't seen any windscreen distortion whatsoever. I am discovering new things about the car all the time and love the adaptive cruise control!

One downer has been the stickiness of the charge flap when charging at home. No experience of using a public charger although I have all the apps to be able to do so.

Here's a couple of photos of my very first EV! It's called The Wafter...a serene, chilled drive experience and the lateral acceleration is fabulous!

Good to see your enjoying the car and getting that mileage. Do you have heat pump?

I'm not putting much hope in getting mine anytime soon. Mines pretty much identical to yours except it's not the coupe.

The car is the basic version Enyaq Coupe 85 Edition. This, I feel is the reason my order arrived so quickly.

I totally get why people on this thread are so disappointed with the dealerships and Skoda as the information of build week allocation and everything that comes after, (or not), in terms of comms, is an utter shambles. My build week was allocated a month post order placement. The car was not built in week 26.....and then it was at Emden!, all in the same couple of days. @ Sheerness within 8 days and @ the dealership in 4 days. Massive holes in logistics and information flow which is hugely frustrating @ best.

Zero *extras*, so no heat pump. An Ohme Home Pro charger.

It is my first EV following 4 diesel Dagenham dustbin Galaxy's on the trot, the last being an Eco-Blu, ( so significantly cleaner.)

A huge leap into the unknown with the decision made in the dealership after I'd initially gone in to order a petrol Karoq! :)

A massive thanks to everyone who contributes to this Forum as I needed to wise up and research my uncharacteristic *impulse buy*, fast!

And I'm still learning, exploring and discovering.
A new owner.

Yes it’s a hard pill to swallow when you see someone who had a car built the exact same week as me (26) get a car a full month (and counting) in front of me. This just shows the total incompetence at Skoda or lack of transparency to customers. My car was also a none option car, but a 85x. So pleased you got your car though, think looking at this thread your lottery numbers must have come up lol! I’ve hassled my dealer so often for up dates they are probably sick of me, but just get told it’s about a week away. The week then passes and nothing, they then wonder why I hassle again. I am beyond frustrated and fed up - the car best be beyond AMAZING. I don’t think I could go through an order process like this again.

I'm leasing the car for 3 years, not sure I'd go for Skoda again even if the car is very good. Or probably order 12 months in advance if the car is amazing! 😅

It’s same when you order car end of January and your car was build on week 25 - same week as people who ordered their cars in April or so. I just cannot understand how they works.

Can anyone give me an idea how long cars are currently taking to get to dealers from UK ports? Mine has been at the port for 12 days and counting so far. Dealer is unable to say when it will arrive, just that they are waiting on a few cars at the same time - so just wondering if anyone who has recently picked up their cars could give me a rough idea how long they waited - thanks.

I had the first update from dealership saying the car was at the port on the 25th July (car had left the factory as of the 4th July). So around 26 days minimum and counting!

managed to get an update on my order ;
Ordered mid June with an advised waiting time of 4-6 months , didn't get any updates for near enough 2 months , after i chased this up was given a provisional build date of week 39 for an enyaq 85x sport line plus in black.
Spoke to garage again yesterday and build has been confirmed for week 37 , its also confirmed to be the 2025 model and garage seems to think i'll receive the vehicle by the end of October , although reading this thread i certainly wont be holding my breath on that and will just keep my fingers crossed.
I did ask if they could tell me the differences between the models and all they could say was it was an updated infotainment system , asked if anything else had changed on the specs as id seen some YouTube videos about the new models and they seemed to have different wheels among other things (although i suspect most of those videos used AI generated imagery) , if anyone knows any more about the differences id be interested to know

For the record this morning (20th Aug) - ordered Enyaq Coupe 85 Edition 2wd, Racing Blue, Loft interior - no extras, from a Skoda Dealer.

Dealer showed me the current waiting list times for this car are 19 weeks. 4wd version I noticed was at 23 weeks.

(UK based)

Time will tell !

Ordered 85 edition SUV lounge, I'm now at 26 weeks and the car is still not built. I still think that the coupe version has been given priority over the SUV.
