Someone was saying they look to be prioritising Coupe so maybe that's the case.

Not sure they are prioritising the Coupe, mine is a Silver 85x Sportline Coupe - build week 26. I’ve asked the dealer a few times now if they can even confirm it made it to the UK yet, but never get a reply to my question. No clue where it is or when it will be at the dealers. The whole process is a mess - everybody gets told conflicting stories, which just causes unnecessary anxiety and stress for us all. Don’t think I will by from Skoda again. The dealership and cars are brilliant, but Skoda is disastrously disorganised and disappointing with the whole customer experience. I’m made up for everyone that has managed to have their car delivered. For the rest of us I guess it’s back to the waiting game!
Today was a surprise. Having had the call 3 days ago that the 85 Edition was in the UK, we visited Vindis Skoda in Bury St Edmunds, to finalise the contract and the trade in value of our iV80. As we drove in, literally they drove this beauty till wrapped to where we parked. Beautifully choreographed (I had rung apologising for being late due to a road closure).Interesting it has Bridgestone Turanza tyres this time. Will be interesting how they compare to the Pirelli's, which have been good.
The not so good news is that the iV80 with 23k on the clock and all our extras is worth £21.5k, £23.5k depreciation in 2.75 years. Ouch, thank goodness for the corporatiion tax allowance! However, looking forward to the Edition additions!

85 Edition, Race blue, Suite, 20” Vega alloys, electric tow bar, panoramic sunroof, transport pack, ordered April 24 delivered August 24. Replaced our 2021 iV80 of a similar spec.
Ordered the 85 Edition 29th May, a week later it was in build stage 1, lucky I guess as I had not specified any extras, I did consider the tow hitch, but at £814 that was a joke, and I have another car for towing my 750kg trailer.
So today I get a phone call from the dealer, and the car has arrived at the dealership, it has been arranged that I am to collect it on Monday 19th August, that's pretty good less than 3 months from start to finish, I never contacted the dealer from the time of ordering, and was expecting a six month wait.
So happy days, Ohme charger was installed back in June, will be using EDF for off-peak charging, and I have Electroverse, Scottish Charge Place RFID cards on order, the car is on 3 year mobility lease, so I already have the Go Charge PAUA RFID card, so hopefully all bases covered, planning a road trip to the Cote d Azur for June 2025.
My first ever EV, so a leap of faith if I am honest.

Received a call from the dealer on Friday, car will be with them on Monday!! So original delivery date of mid August would have been about right.JamesNew2EV wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 9:56 amI have had exactly the same! Delayed in Germany at customs...build week 26...told 4 weeks ago "in Transit to UK" then when I chased this week it's now stuck in Germany
I won't receive delivery of it until the start of Sept as it will be a 74 plate but good to hear it's in the country and landing at the dealers.

My theory is that they accidentally parked my car in one of the nearby local car parks instead of the Emden port one! That's the only explanation of why mine is being delayed this much.

Maybe and depending on where your dealer is located in the UK your new car will be allocated an appropriate auto- ship and that ship is awaiting morecars to be loaded?
Sheer speculation on my part. It could have been someone's first day and they messed-up? I really hope you get the call this week and that you are summoned to collect it.
Keep the faith!
I have had mt Enyaq Coupe 85 Edition i(n the grey denim fabric? ) for a month now and it's such fun to drive.
No idea of the trim but the basic spec with Proteus 9" wheels if that helps.
I've not tried the B drive yet although in D I took the 4 hounds to The Naze, Essex a couple of Mondays ago,. Well the tides were right for a run on the wet sand and I could fully test out the car,
I managed 4.5 miles per kwh in D for that round trip... Overall I am achieving 4.1 per kwh around the West Essex area.
I haven't seen any windscreen distortion whatsoever. I am discovering new things about the car all the time and love the adaptive cruise control!
One downer has been the stickiness of the charge flap when charging at home. No experience of using a public charger although I have all the apps to be able to do so.
Here's a couple of photos of my very first EV! It's called The Wafter...a serene, chilled drive experience and the lateral acceleration is fabulous!
A new owner.
