The dealer may be able to track the car but that is dependent on the information tracking being correct at this end.

In my case, build week 26 and I'm told, (after enquiring), that the car has not yet been built. Then, a delighted call to tell that not only has the car has been built, it is en route to Emden!

I now have my Enyaq Coupe, 3 months + 1 week post order and handover was this Wednesday 17th July! Incredible considering I was told a 6 to 9 month wait, so September onwards.

Exciting that people with the same build week as me are starting to get their cars! My dealer has been great, but last update I had a day or two ago said that it was waiting for shipping to the UK? Don’t understand how some people have cars delivered and some haven’t even had them shipped all from the same build week. Hoping I may get a good news update next week????

Last Update said build week 27 - 1st week in July.

That's 3 weeks ago and still heard nothing!

Did you guys with cars get a chassis number during the build process?

I feel that location is everything in this process. My car disembarked at Sheerness which serves the South of the country. Tyne and Grimsby are the other disembarkation ports which presumably serve the North to include Scotland and Midlands. I expect this sectorisation is done to minimise transporter distances. It's impossible to say without knowing the location of expectant Yakkers, but maybe the Sheerness ship is filled faster because of the higher density of population in the South East at least?

I wasn't given any numbers at all let alone a chassis number and had to ask for the likely build week which is allocated one month post order. I only knew about 'build weeks' because I had read of such information on this useful site. Once that was given, it was a case of mentally ticking off the days on the calendar only to be told it hadn't been built, then, it's been built and at Emden! Then 8 days later its at Sheerness and soon after at the dealership. It's been quite the rollercoaster.
An astonishing 13 weeks from order and it's now sat outside on the driveway. And I shall post some photos soon.

I'm waiting on mine to arrive at Port of Tyne. Done a bit of digging regarding shipping movements into Port of Tyne and I see the Car Transporter MV City of Rotterdam left Emden in 15th July arriving in Port of Tyne on 17th July so I am hoping my car was on that. Typically i've emailed the dealer who is silent

Just had this update for enyaq coupe 85x in graphite grey ordered 2nd week in feb 2024 .
Was told originally April time then June then July now as follows



Hope you're well. It's looking going to be August, possibly even September at this point, but I'm hopeful things will move forward quicker from here.
Skoda had a large number of cars damaged in a hailstorm at the end of June, so my suspicion is that they're holding some cars back to prioritise replacing those damaged units.
