New car delivery times

Does anyone know if the build week can become delayed once it's been confirmed? I had a build week for next week but I haven't heard back from the dealers. I have a charger being fitted next week and want to postpone it if there's more delay to the build.

I ordered my Enyaq last November, build week was confirmed for week 20. Week 20 came and went with nothing happening. Latest guesstimate is week 35 with delivery probably some time in October.

Ordered mine start of November, in January told build week 20. At start of March told car was already built. Heard nothing since and dealer doesn’t have status code or know where the car is…..
There is no rhyme or reason to way these cars are being distributed.
Honestly I would hold off on your charger would be my advice.

And you will get some that will come and say ordered mine Monday it was delivered on Wednesday dunno what you are all moaning about

3 months, bit my estimated delivery date has been and gone with no sign of the car. Looking at some of the posts on here it could be 11 months! I would seriously consider going elsewhere, I wished I had.

Mine has been being built at the factory for 9 weeks and counting apparently. Don't believe a word of it.

Just got off phone with dealer, ordered 85x last November, got a build week for week 20, now latest estimate is week 35 with delivery in October. Was originally told 16 weeks delivery, now looking at 11 months.

Totally disgraceful. This is a poor showng by Skoda. Regret ordering now and should've gone with the Mustang. Might look at cancelling.

Ordered a Grey 85x 4x4 Sportsline on 9th Jan

Was told to expect delivery April/May

Told in April build date confirmed week 22 end of May

Emailed today to see if it was being built & told all cars currently on order with Johnsons Skoda have been delayed until Week 31 (last week of July) or after
but that mine is locked in on the system so SHOULD not change.

Did they give you a reason why cars ordered from Johnsons Skoda have been delayed? Seems odd that a particular dealership are being singled out for delay.

Jeez, that doesn't make good reading. I hope you get yours sooner than that.

It's like the old vw id3 sh*tshow all over again.

I was quoted 13+ weeks back in January, had a build week for week 20 or 21 and now it's week 26 but I'm not holding my breath.

So I requested another update, and they confirmed today that build will start next week with a delivery to dealership expected mid to late July. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It's Pulman Skoda not Johnsons so hopefully they don't the delays.
