Not sure I can understand the Skoda pricing for paint options on the Sportline range. On an Enyaq you have to pay extra for any of the metallic paint options on either an 80 or 80x Sportline model, but on the Kodiaq (very similar sized car, if not slightly larger) or Karoq all metallic paint colours (bar the Velvet Red) are a no-cost option for the Sportline, including the same Race Blue metallic. Then again, it's a £725 option on the Superb Sportline Plus. Hmm...

Well, after the amazing advice on here, plus viewing an Enyaq at the weekend, I'm biting the bullet and ordering 🎉

I'm thinking...

* 60, with 100kwh charging
* Metallic Race Blue (saw this in the showroom and it was stunning)
* Assisted drive pack
* Parking pack

With the assisted park pack I need to also add on a drive pack - Drive and Drive Sport are the same price, so which one would you go for?

Thanks.
Sept 2021: Ordered Skoda Enyaq 132kW 60 Loft 62kWh 5dr Auto. Metallic Race Blue, with Drive sport pack, Assisted drive pack and Parking pack. First brand new car and first EV! :D

/\ I ‘think’ drive is a two-spoke steering wheel and ‘drive sport’ is a 3 spoke steering wheel.

I couldn’t even tell you how many spokes my current car, or my wife’s car has to be honest so I’m not sure how relevant this is in the real world. If you liked the demo car, maybe ask for the same as that one had (if you even noticed :lol: !!)

Have a look at the rapid charging section on this web page: https://ev-database.uk/car/1279/Skoda-Enyaq-iV-60

If you were expecting 100KW charging from the optional charger, you may be disappointed.

Yes - Drive is a 2-spoke steering wheel with paddles for changing regen setting, and Drive Sport has a 3-spoke wheel with paddles, and progressive steering (ie the rate varies depending on speed etc)

It seems there is an API call in Android Auto (possibly CarPlay too) that allows navigation software to pass instructions to the built in navigation system on compliant cars. I didn’t know about that - but it’s only very recent cars from certain manufacturers that comply.
So yeah - another plus point for the Enyaq HUD 🙂

Not sure what you mean - yes, you won't get 100kW throughout the charge cycle as the system has to manage battery temperature as it charges, and any EV's charging rate will drop off significantly beyond 80% on a rapid charger. However with the 100kW charge option on an Enyaq, anything up to around 70% charge will be faster with the optional 100kW over the standard 50kW, which shows a flat line all the way to 70% (provided you're connected to a rapid charging point capable of delivering 100kW+ charging). And that assumes that a car with the standard 50kW doesn't actually decay its charging rate, but stays flat as per the graph - it may be that this particular site only tested a car with the optional 100kW charger fitted, so how the standard car behaves may be different:
