Skoda Apps!

Hello fellow Yaqqas

I recently received my Enyaq (85X Sportline Plus). I seem to have two apps - one which is called MySkoda with a dark green background where I can see the general info and set the air con/charging etc which seems to work fine and then another light green app that is also called MySkoda but has essentials written on the app - I am guessing this second one is the one that I should be using?

I have tried to connect to it many many times and it just says that it can’t connect to the server whenever I try (and I have been trying now for two weeks!). It wasn’t really an issue and I can live without what I think might be added remote features, but now I’m finding that when I try and change my electricity tariff it needs to connect to MySkoda to match itself up or whatever but it says that my car isn’t active - but it’s showing as active on the dark green app!

Anyone able to offer me any advice? I did take it to the dealership who were useless and told me to ring - I tried in vain and was unable to get through to anyone and then finally spoke to someone on online chat who gave me a number that didn’t even connect!

No, MySkoda Essentials is the old app.

Ah that might make sense then - should I not be able to lock/unlock the doors etc? Or is it just only charge on and off and turn on the air con?

Still confused in which case why my octopus keeps saying that my car isnt activated!

No, unfortunately no lock/unlock for Enyaq via app.
