I'm the only user set up for MySKODA - there are two mobiles bluetoothed for telephone - it won't accept a third.
There weren't any updates.

I find this extremely annoying
Why is it necessary?
A while ago (1994??) Peugeot had a PIN entry system that was quickly dropped
It only appeared once the MySkoda app was installed

Yes, it's got the blind spot detector. A yellow light comes on in the housing of the wing mirror.
