Re: Lane assist

I don’t think my vRS has the travel assist option. When built all options were available to pick individually, but although many options fitted that’s not there. I have turned off all the options in lane assist except the nudge effect which has to be turned off every restart, if so inclined. I don’...

Re: INSURANCE THROUGH MY LIMITED COMPANY

Hi I have just bought through my limited company the Enyaq iv80 coupe Sportline plus. From what I understand, the company needs to insure the vehicle (not myself) Can anyone recommend any good value insurers who specifically cater for how I need to do this please? Thanks! If the company bought the ...

Re: Noise with rear windows open

Yes, I've noticed this. However, buffeting occurs on most cars when only the rear windows are open to some extent. It is mostly relieved by opening the front windows a bit. As to poor design.... I can't really agree with that statement. The car designers do not consider this when developing the conc...

Re: Car broken into… (or was it?)

The sort of attack where the radio frequency is copied from a nearby key (I think its called a relay attack), should not be possible with the enyaq.

Re: Granny Cable

Just got back from a week in France and used a Third Rock granny (10m) on a 10m extension and a 13amp adapter from Amazon. Used on max power (3kw) for long charges of 24hrs with no issues at all. For the first few hours I checked the connections regularly for heat build up and although everything do...

Re: Is a heat pump a must?

It's best to think about it in range terms rather than money saving. EVs are cheap to run and I doubt many people would 'get their money back' on a heat pump. However in the winter or summer on longer journeys it reduces the heating or cooling power draw, giving you a longer range. If you calculate ...

Re: Compatible warning triangle

Off to France next week so thought I should get a triangle. The one from Screwfix fits so perfectly into the dedicated holder in the boot it makes me think these folding types must be a standard size. Only £6.99 too which seems much more reasonable than the Skoda £24.99 version. I haven't used it so...

Re: Travel Assist as default

I don’t know if I have travel assist or not on my otherwise highly specced vRS? If I exceed 40mph the lane assist is always there and has to be turned off manually after each start. I just put up with it but have permanently turned off vibration and other option which do stay off. Acc lever just tu...

Re: 400 miles

Most summer journeys, we comfortably exceed WLPT giving a total 100-0 range of 350+, most winter journeys are under WLPT. After 1 year of ownership, the average consumption is less than WLPT, but I'm completely satisfied with range and feel Skoda got it right. From what I read about the enyaq and ot...
