Just tell them the Skoda logo(s) have deformed - they might want to inspect the car to confirm - however, it is such a common problem ( mine is booked in for their second replacements) they might just book the car in for replacements, which only takes about 45 minutes.

CR 2032 button style battery. It’s only a minute or so to change so your Dealer shouldn’t charge any labour. I was fortunate, my Dealer did not even charge for the batteries.

I’m booked in for my second replacement set. The first time it was very obviously distorted, the next time my dealer picked it up at the 2 year service - they looked OK to me. Takes about 45 minutes to replace. They only seem to last a year in my car.
