Re: Driving in Europe
On our way to France we normally go to Ypres first to the Menin Gate (there is a memorial for the British Commonwealth solders) and then down towards Chantilly, so I usually charge at IONITY Saint Laurent - I think it will be on your way to Brussels too. If you're planning to stay at hotel from a kn...

Re: Insurance Enyaq v Tesla
Neighbours told me another day they move a house down the same road and their insurance (Renault Zoe) went up by several hundreds. The Insurance company explained that statistically the new area has more accidents (there is a bust stop next to the house).

Re: Octopus Energy Limited Offer
I was about to leave Octopus to E.On as nothing works now with their charging: Enyaq 85x with Ohme Pro combination doesn't smart-charge the car at the cheapest rate (I just cap the price to 7p on the Ohme charger), but came across the attached tariff of 6.00p/kWh on their website, but cannot find it...

Not sure I understand the purpose of this exercise...
M3 towards Southampton 45 miles drive - 2.8
M3 away from Southampton same 45 miles - 3.
But these are the figures from January, as my great Skoda Enyaq is in the garage since 30 January with no clarity on when it will be back.

Re: Don’t pay road car tax next year
Some good explanations on the Government site: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vehicle-tax-for-electric-and-low-emissions-vehicles Basic rate of £195 in the first year, then if it's over £40,000, an extra £410 per year for years 2, 3, 4 and 5. Then reverts back to base rate of £195. (btw it's Vehicle T...

Re: "Valid" Faulty System
Do the errors stay permenantly? Its quite common for those errors to appear in frosty weather, and then clear after driving for a short while once the sensors have cleared the frost/condensation etc. If its there all the time and doesnt clear, then yes there is a faulty sensor. But it popping up in...

Re: "Valid" Faulty System
What software version are you on? Whilst this could be a faulty component (camera or sensor) it could also be something obscuring one of the sensors or impeding their performance. I have an occasional issue where the system is disabled. It’s always on cold mornings and is sorted with front heated w...

Re: "Valid" Faulty System
I'm a bit puzzled what this has to do with software engineering (or having any experience in the software industry). Surely if a sensor is dirty/obscured and preventing some functions from working then the software should report it - and it has. To me the question is "what is obscuring the sen...
