Re: Dog guard and boot separator

These measurements are for my Enyaq (with the Transport Pack - ie flat boot floor, level with the boot opening). It's the SUV shape, so not sure about Coupe - width will be the same, but not necessarily the others. Floor area (between the wheelarches) is 100 cm. Distance from boot door to top of bac...

Re: 12 Volt Battery Warning

I get it a lot, since the car was update to ME3.2. It never did it on ME2.6. I can only assume that ME3.x either uses more power when the car is locked and in sleep mode, or it warns at a higher threshold voltage than the original software did. I have disabled high drain things like headlights when ...

Re: 500 miles - Manchester to London and back

Glad you had a nice experience :) You'll learn what works for you in terms of charging on longer journeys - despite what some people would have you believe, there are plenty of places to charge if you think ahead a little but. 1) Totally agree - adaptive cruise makes motorways far less stressful as ...

Re: Trip to the South West from the Midlands

Yeah, I gave up on the Bude charger - it'd more reliable to just granny charge off a socket in my mum's kitchen if I need it :) However I tend to charge to 90% at Exeter, and that'll get me to Bude, over to my sister in Bideford, then back to Bude, and back to Exeter with about 20% remaining. If the...

Re: Trip to the South West from the Midlands

Ooh - I didn't know that about Electroverse and Ionity. I'll use that instead now. However there's only really one Ionity charger locations anywhere near the routes I tend to drive, which is a shame.

Re: Trip to the South West from the Midlands

Yep - I try Electroverse first, then contactless credit card if it doesn't work. If it's Ionity then Powerpass. Although I have Shell and a couple of other cards in the car, I rarely use them. Generally I try to charge at Instavolt, Gridserve (or MFG and Applegreen are starting to become more common...

Re: Trip to the South West from the Midlands

I often use the Podpoint ones at the farm shop in Lifton. Good to know the Tesla ones are now available too - cheers!

Re: Tyre Pressure Skoda Enyaq 85

Should be on a sticker on the drivers door frame, just below where the lock latches to. This is where you’ll find them on most cars.

From memory, I think it’s 2.7 bar all round, but best to check.

Re: Trip to the South West from the Midlands

Be really handy for me if they pop one in at Sainsbury’s in Bude. But I guess they’ve already got the Tunnel so can’t ask for too much more 😃 North East Cornwall is still a bit lacking in reliable high power chargers (BP in Holsworthy often only charges at 15-20 kW for example). But I suspect there ...
