Re: Is there a way to save (and name) a planned route

I don’t think you can do it on the built in nav. You can do it on ABRP though.

Re: 400 miles

I’m impressed at people’s tolerance for hyper miling. I just drive the thing. I’ve seen an estimate of over 300 miles only rarely on a Sportline. Think my lowest was last week with 81% and a range of 138 miles remaining but that was after blasting across France on the speed limit on the autoroute wi...

Re: Roofbox Vs Bike Racks ?

Resurrecting an old thread - just back from the alps with 2 bikes on the roof. 130kph gives about 2miles/kWh - we were stopping every 90 minutes or less. Not sure I’ve seen a range of about 130miles for 80% battery before (sportline 80). That said, car was very comfortable doing that all day. I’m su...

Re: Prospective new owner

I’d have thought by now that any new order would be MY24 - isn’t the factory changeover about now? Unless they’re offering you something from stock. I’d take the risk and not wait any longer. I have the MY23 sportline 2nd and it’s great. I think you can get too hung up on this feature or that that m...

Re: Interested in the enyaq but nervous about switch to electric

The 20" wheels don't get curbed. I know because I let my wife drive it and they are still mint!. The tyre walls stick out further than the edge of the rim so they are wife friendly 8-) I’ve dinged 2 of mine already - on 20” rims and I’ve only had it 2 months. Lots of parallel parking on the me...

Re: 1st long drive

Yep - subscription to ionity for £7.95 per month. €0.35 per kWh. Cost per mile? Dunno - like I said, consumption wasn’t great due to speed. A lot cheaper than petrol, but beyond that I’d prefer not to take all the joy out of it by crunching the pennies - I’m sure there are cheaper ways, but I was mo...

Re: 1st long drive

I got the Powerpass… Will be interesting to hear how your trips to the alps go. I’ve driven to Denmark a number of times in my previous car but don’t know if I would do such a long journey in the Enyaq. @Sparky72 - just back from the alps - managed to do ionity the whole way down - it was pretty mu...

Re: Charge door

Still don’t get why it even has a lock in it - can’t see it serves any purpose - it’s not like someone can siphon off your electricity

Re: Skoda PowerPass and charging costs

All depends on your use case though - it’s still viable at 44p per kWh on IONity if most your long distance miles are covered that way. I’m on the same current Powerpass tariff as OP and even combined with an expensive home charge at 32p per kWh at home it’s still significantly cheaper than petrol. ...
