I’ve read a few things about battery issues so want to ask…
I’m going away in January and the car will be parked at an airport meet and greet for 7 days. Any issues or things to consider before I go?
Going away
Only thing I'd recommend is that you ensure you're not fully charged, and not low on charge when you park up at the airport.
From what I've read, NMC batteries don't like being left unused for long when fully charged or very near fully charged. Not exactly sure why. Something to do with dendrite formation I think.
As for leaving it with low charge. Even though it's not being driven, your car will still use some charge whilst you're away to charge the 12v battery if it gets low, and your 12v battery will be running the alarm system, and performing other background tasks, so may need recharging from time to time over the week.

The biggest risk is potential damage to your car / mystery miles by meet and greet staff. I hope you are using a site with good reviews. Have parked at Heathrow long stay for two weeks with no issues in summer months however if during the winter I would allow for some discharge and possible loss of range but if you are just away for a week then there should be no issues.

At least you can monitor the position and mileage remotely!
I agree with the advice about charge level. From my experience I would not be concerned about leaving the car parked for a week. I have just picked up the car after 6 days and 8 hours in long term parking at Gatwick. Over that period the BMS reports that HV battery discharged 190 Wh and the state of charge reduced by 0.88%. Because the temperature had increased since the car was parked at 6am last week the estimated range had increased by 6.8 miles. The 12V battery state of charge had reduced from 100% and was at 62% when I arrived back, but the reported total charge had increased by 4.3 Ah, while the total discharge had increased by 13.4 Ah. My car charges the 12V battery from the HV battery when the 12V SoC drops to around 50%, topping it up to around 90%. The car has often been left parked for around a week without problem, including in the coldest part of last winter.

After driving from Andover (Hants) starting at 80% we parked ours at Gatwick APH parking last January, some sub-zero temps that week. Kept an eye on the car remotely during the week away and didn't see any drop in charge level. Drove return journey home without any concerns (or charges). Planning to do the same in a couple of weeks and again in March. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the replies. Sound advice.
We are using the on-site airport parking staff so hope they will take care of was planning on putting the speed limit function on and as suggested I can monitor what they do remotely.
