Yeah I would be pissed off in that situation too to be fair.

That was when it had been released 6 months so I’d say it’s been out approx 1 year and already they have done an update to the engine and other bits and bobs to make it more powerful and more eco. It will also now charge quicker. I’m gutted by this considering it’s only been out 1 year. Interesting read.

How did they make it more powerful? Can this be done on all models ?

I have no idea. It’s just int he article. I’m so pleased with the car though. Suspension is rock hard but I don’t mind that. Some of my back seat passengers do though. I’m not really sure but was air suspension ever an option?

My vRS has adjustable suspension fitted, I find the ride acceptable, much better than on 3 Yetis I had in the past.
Surprisingly Sport setting is excellent as it smooths out a lot of the wallowing.

Apparently they have a new design of rear motor in the 85x and vRS which is more powerful. I suspect the vRS can get more out of it briefly as can the current car, as long as over 88% charged and battery at suitable temperature. I doubt I have ever seen this extra power in mine as I only charge to 100% before a long journey away from home when I drive gently in eco mode!

There will be a new rear engine (the front remains unchanged), now the rear engine has 150 kW then it will have 210 kW.

I've had my Enyaq VRS for about two months and I don't think I need more power or torque, it's absolutely enough for me. And I drive a Hayabusa, so I know what performance and acceleration are.
