Which OBD11 Bluetooth device works with the Enyaq and EVNotify?

I want to access data regarding battery temperature and charging characteristics. Do I need a dongle like the Veepeek OBD checker above? Or will an OBDeleven device do the same job?

My Enyaq is soon to be in the UK, so I'm trying to work out if I want one of these devices. I like data, so I think the answer is yes!

I think we have two (main) choices, and I'd like some advice please - and mainly confirmation I've understood correctly!

Option 1:

• Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+

• Provides diagnostic data, including battery status, battery temperature etc

• review data in third party apps, or feed ABRP

• costs about £32

Option 2:

• OBDeleven OBD2 Diagnostic Scan Tool

• Everything as above, plus

• Pre-programmed functions to change settings on the car, enable/disable features, modify things

• enables manual entry of codes to modify things

• costs £75 to £124

• preprogrammed functions cost more or need a subscription

Is this a good summary, if not what have I missed or got wrong? For example, can the Veepeak device modify things?

Assuming I'm not doing to try enabling features I haven't paid for, are there other things that people have used the programming features for?

Finally, where does it plug in? I presume it doesn't get in the way and gets left there permanently?

Get the vgate from amazon it’s £25 and works fine.

No need to make it more complicated than what it is.
