Re: Efficiency - Is this normal? And any tips?

Agreed - if you do journeys of under 20 minutes, you'll never get great efficiency. But once the cabin and battery are warmed up, you can sit at 70mph on cruise control on the motorway with climate control set to something sensible for hundreds of miles and often attain 3.5 mi/kWh in winter (or over...

Re: Charging to 100% on AC

Yeah - so it's good to aim to never let it get that low. :) The only time I'll let it go below 10% is if I know I'm within a few miles of home because I know I can charge there with no issues. If I'm down at 15%, I'm starting to look on Zap-map or similar for any nearby charger, even if it's an AC o...

Re: Charging to 100% on AC

Not really, it's not great for battery health. You'll find car reviewers such as TeslaBjorn have done this for you with press cars so you don't have to. For the Enyaq, I seem to recall that it starts limiting power below about 5% (you can still get to 60mph, but it'll take a lot longer), and when it...

Re: Buying Travel Assist in the App ?

I added the £915 "Assisted Drive Package Plus" option when I built the car spec back in August 2021 (that included Adaptive cruise control. Blind spot detection. Crew protect assist. Traffic jam assist, Emergency assist. Lane assist plus). Back then there was a much larger range of option ...

Re: opinions please

Octopus Intelligent is far more reliable if you connect it to your charger rather than the car. Of course that relies on you having a supported charger (eg OHME, Zappi etc). Agree on the point above - granny chargers aren't really meant to be used as your main method of charging (which is why Skoda ...

Re: Apple CarPlay won't connect

It should be ME3.x. What the x is doesn't really matter. I'm guessing you've had it in for its first service, so if it was supplied with ME2.x then it will have been upgraded at the service time to ME3.0, 3.1 or 3.2 as it's a mandatory update (but can only be done at a dealership, not over the air a...

Re: Buying Travel Assist in the App ?

I use it most the time. Literally when I get out of my driveway onto the main road, as soon as it's picked up that I'm on a 60mph road I pull the stalk then step off the pedals. It's only if I'm in an area with lots of hazards (eg pedestrians or cyclists) that I turn it off and drive manually. On th...

Re: Electroverse if you’re an Octopus Intelligent customer

Quite a lot of people have Octopus as their electricity supplier and it helps to raise awareness that the Elecroverse card is available and does offer a bit of convenience (billing direct) as well as a discount (sometimes). We've just changed from our old Octopus tariff to Intelligent now it support...

Re: iOS App Widget?

You know, in 2 and a half years, mine has never shown km on the app on my phone? That's in the original app and the new one. No idea why that's the case though! However on my wife's phone, occasionally it switched to German. :D

Re: Puddle lights broken up

That centre roof switch/lighting bit seems to have had a few revisions over the years - for example it gained buttons for calling Skoda on the right, which those of us with earlier models don't have (just courtesy light setting and passenger airbag status). Caused an issue when they did my ME3.2 upd...
